Glastonbury’s MEGALITHOMANIA comes to South Africa

The conference is presented by Michael Tellinger, author of ‘Temples of the African Gods & Slave Species of god’ who has uncovered an advanced ancient civilization that stretches across our home country of South Africa, and whose research is becoming a worldwide sensation.

Read Michael Tellinger’s story:

THE OLDEST MAN-MADE STRUCTURES ON EARTH

It begins this way:

Scholars have told us that the first civilization on Earth emerged in a land called Sumer some 6,000 years ago. Recent archaeological findings suggest that the Sumerians may have inherited some of their knowledge from an earlier civilisation that emerged many thousands of years earlier in southern Africa, the cradle of humankind. More than 100,000 years ago, early humans built a stone calendar that precedes all other man-made structures found to date. This discovery is so astounding that it requires a true paradigm shift in our approach to ancient human activity, as it takes us closer to the emergence of the earliest humans on planet Earth.

This “African Stonehenge”, which we call Adam’s Calendar, has created for the first time a link to the countless other stone ruins in southern Africa and suggests that these ruins are much older than we thought. The complex that links Waterval Boven, Machadodorp, Carolina and Dullstroom covers an area larger than modern-day Johannesburg and has emerged as the largest and most mysterious ancient city on Earth. The discoveries of petroglyphs of winged discs and carved dolerite statues of giant birds, some resembling the hawk-headed god Horus, suggest that the prototype Sumerian and Egyptian civilisations had their origins in southern Africa thousands of years before they emerged in the north.

Some bits and pieces:

It is generally estimated by scholars that there are about 20,000 ancient stone ruins scattered throughout the mountains of southern Africa…my personal explorations on foot and by air over the past two or more years, I can confidently estimate the number of ancient stone ruins to be closer to 100,000…This finding immediately poses a huge problem forarchaeologists, anthropologists and historians because the accepted history of this part of the planet does not place, at any time in our past, anywhere nearly enough people here to have built this number of structures…It takes us further back in time, closer to the emergence of Homo sapiens, than any other structure ever found to date, and it will force historians and archaeologists to reconsider ancient human activity and consciousness.

Sasha Shulgin, one of the lights of our time, has had a stroke and needs financial help. He’s a lovely man, known to many of us since the 80s when he gave us MDMA, popularly known as ecstasy, and went on to systematically synthesize and publish a vast catalog of entheogenic substances. I’ve thought that if you put ecstasy in the drinking water, even a one-time exposure to the pure stuff (not what they use at raves where they adulterate it), everyone would get a revelation about how we can keep our hearts open, which is the doorway to happiness. On my blog, column left, in Outside the Box Ideas, I have this entry: ” 7. Give ecstasy to people we want info from — turn evil people into heart-connected ones.”

This is a communication that was sent to me that i am passing along:

PLEASE HELP, SASHA NEEDS YOUR SUPPORT

MDMA, popularly known as ecstasy, is a chemical substance that engenders emotional openness, trust and often deep psychological healing. It is one of the few drugs that has been phenomenally effective as a therapeutic agent in psychotherapy, but was also adopted by rave dance culture and demonized by the drug control establishment, and listed as a controlled substance. However, recently approved new studies using it with PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) have shown that it can be tremendously effective, in some cases apparently offering a cure after only one or a few sessions. Ironically, many believe that if Sasha had not altruistically put it in the public domain, but had instead allowed it to be patented by a major pharmaceutical company, it would still be legal.

Yesterday, on the way to the hospital for a scheduled test, Sasha had a stroke. He has been struggling for six months with an ulcer on his left foot that won’t heal, hoping to avoid amputation. Sasha & Ann have been in serious financial trouble for some years, and the coming medical bills will be a burden they can’t bear alone. Please, express your gratitude for all the work that Sasha has done, for everything he has given to the world, and give something back. Think of all the ways that your life, and the lives of others, have been healed, transformed, and bettered by this wonderful man. He needs your help now. No amount is too small or too large. Please give until it feels good…not until it hurts.

This is a response I made in a dialogue I was having in one of several “featured conversations” that was on my html website. At that time I was having lots of exchanges, and they were the basis for naming our url “theconversation.org.”

This is the intro to the whole dialogue:

This conversation with Walter Starck, editor of the impressive Golden Dolphin Video CD Magazine,[Link] began when he wrote to the director of CROP CIRCLES: Quest for Truth, for which I am Executive Producer. I was so impressed with how he saw the crop circles and the world that I wrote to him, and each time he responds I am moved to tears by his insight and intelligence. I commend you to these quintessential communications that are “making sense of these times.”

Walter is part of my own worldwide web. He’s in Australia – and visited with me when he came to Los Angeles. This response I made to him ends with one of my all-time favorite quotes. Fyi, it’s from an article about growing marijuana.

It is such a pleasure to get your insightful communications, full of what I hold as core truths. Maybe this is my favorite line: “Expertise is on the path to knowing more and more about less and less until it knows everything about nothing.” And yes, yes, “That their meaning is not immediately clear and explicit is probably because they are intended to wake us up and make us think for ourselves not simply to instruct us.” This is the answer to the skeptics who point to how easy it would be for an advanced intelligence to be clear with us. And I think you’ve articulated the key to the significance of the circles, in that they challenge our deadly “unquestioning acceptance of our discrete individual existence.” If we understood what you say – “What we do to the world we do to ourselves” – everything would change.

You say, “The mass consciousness has a remarkable way of clinging to old ideas long past their use-by date; then, when it appears nothing will ever change, suddenly waking up and shifting to the new one.” Here’s one of my favorite quotes, that speaks to this:

“The controlling processes in photosynthesis begin at the atomic level, with the nucleus of the atom and its electron ring. Each orbit around the nucleus of an atom has a variety of potential energy levels at which electrons can move and still remain in orbit. If the electrons exceed the energy limits of their orbits they are forced to leave – to move into an orbit further from the nucleus and therefore an orbit which requires more energy to complete. This movement is the famous quantum leap which we have been using for years to describe an exponential increase of energy required to move from one plane to another. Knowledge, among other things, seems to operate according to this principle – you can acquire vast amounts of knowledge and still remain on the same plane, but there comes a point where the cumulative knowledge in your head – the cumulative creative energy you’re trying to deal with – requires a leap into another plane. Once you’ve made that first leap, you realize that, while knowledge is a cumulative process, it is not a progressive phenomenon. You do not move from plane to plane in a smooth, harmonious progression merely by storing up knowledge. You move from level to level, but always within the same orbit or plane, until you reach a point where you can no longer contain the creative energy you have been accumulating and remain within the same plane. So you make the quantum leap. And find yourself starting all over again, gathering energy on another level, always with successive levels above you, levels which are accessible only through the accumulation of vast amounts of knowledge, until once again the leap is within your ability. The life process in plants proceeds in this way, by quantum leaps of the atomic particles into a higher, more energetic plane.”

?

I got this email because Lex Hixon was a close ally of mine, and the writer found reports of what Lex and I did together posted here: http://mightycompanions.org/LexHixon.

I met Lex Hixon when I was a teenager. He inspired me to be a more loving person and to be less judgmental of other people. I LOVED HIM AND STILL DO. I spent a lot of time with him and was introduced to many religions because of him. In my opinion he was one of the most beautiful people I HAVE EVER MET IN MY LIFE. HE GAVE EVERYONE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE. I have never felt so loved in the purest sense of the word.

This sort of expression is a common one. People would run by Lex briefly and it would be unforgettable for them. It was instant connection and melting of hearts. A lots of this came out when Lex died — he thought it was parasites from India, where they gave him some major honor, but it was colon cancer, caught too late.

Lex was one of the giant thinkers of our time. Ken Wilbur wrote the intro to Lex’s first book,
Coming Home: The Experience of Enlightenment in Sacred Traditions,
in which he said, “Perhaps the single best introductory book ever written on the world’s great mystical traditions.”

Lex was a rabble rouser. When he left, we were in the midst of planning Celebrations of the Human Spirit, which we were going to do in stadiums. Lex could have pulled that off. He so wanted to wake the world up, and he came from a wealthy family that could have supported some pretty wild attempts.

Lex left us way too soon, at age 55, in 1995, on November 1, All Souls’ Day, interestingly the day when they say the line between the world’s is thinnest. This is a beautiful obituary written by another close ally, that I urge you to read.

Question:

If an alien race were to make itself known to us, what would they have to say about American capitalism in its current form?

Answer:

I think that a star-faring alien race, based on their survey of many worlds, would recognize our form of capitalism as a transitional system. It is the type of system that develops once a species establishes rational scientific inquiry and attains limited ego-based consciousness, but before it transcends that level of development to reach a truly holistic and planetary level of consciousness. With its tremendous dynamism, capitalism has meshed the world together through trade routes and communications technology. Soon we will need to supersede it to create a regenerative planetary culture where the rights of nature are protected, where manufacturing is redesigned to become zero waste, as William McDonogue describes in Cradle to Cradle, and where maximum efficiency is used in a systemic redesign of our built environment and our social institutions. We will also develop alternative instruments to exchange value, as the economist Bernard Lietaer describes in The Future of Money, or Tom Greco explores in The End of Money and the Future of Civilization.

As I discuss in my new book,
Notes from the Edge Times,
capitalism in its pure form has reached the limit of its usefulness and has become a destructive force. This is because the logic of the system forces the constant creation of new markets and turns all sorts of human relations into monetary exchanges. Nature has no rights under this system, and it is to the benefit of market calculations to turn natural reserves into economic producers – for instance, a forest has little economic value in itself, but when the trees are taken out and it is converted into a parking lot or soybean farm, it creates a series of economic transactions that feed the GDP. Since we have reached the resource limits of the earth, a system that runs on the ideology of endless economic growth and infinite material progress can no longer function and will soon self-destruct. The aliens in their silver ships would know about this, and would feel great concern that in the approaching chaos, horrific and meaningless destruction may be unleashed.

It does seem that many indicators point toward the inevitability of a global financial collapse, and this meltdown may very well occur around 2012. The global financial system is built on a debt pyramid. As long as there were new markets to penetrate and new resources to exploit, it was possible to ignore this, but now that the planet has been fully globalized and resources are declining, it is becoming impossible. According to many geologists, we are now facing “peak oil,” the point at which the annual amount of fossil fuels we are able to extract first levels off and then begins to decline, even as global demand for oil continues to grow. Personally, I hope the collapse of the financial system leads to a mass awakening as we recognize we have been focusing on virtual abstractions and profit-driven calculations that have nothing to do with the actual health and biodiversity of the earth or the resilience of our communities, and threaten our prospects for long-term continuity as a species...

I am not particularly concerned about the date. It is quite clear that we are in the crucible of a transformation, and either humanity will make a transition to a different form of civilization and a new awareness, or we will most likely not survive, at least in anything close to our current state. According to current estimates, 25% of all mammalian species – perhaps all species in general – will be extinct in 30 years. The melting of the glaciers and ice caps will eventually lead to coastal flooding and also deprive hundreds of millions of people of fresh water. The pollution of the global environment is rebounding negatively on human health, leading to epidemics of cancers and new mysterious syndromes that affect more and more people. We are all part of an uncontrolled scientific experiment, as nobody knows how much of the web of life on earth can be torn apart by our heedless behavior before the eco-system no longer supports the existence of large mammals such as ourselves. The collapse of bee and butterfly species that work for us as pollinators is one unambiguous warning signal…

I had a wide range of psychic, paranormal, and visionary experiences that ultimately convinced me there were other levels or dimensions of psychic life, that it was quite probable that the soul continues after death in other worlds, and so on. From my perspective, when you encounter these other aspects of reality, the goal of acquiring personal wealth and succeeding in the rat race doesn’t really make much sense. There is so much more happening in the cosmos, and it is the evolution of your soul and spirit that is ultimately important, not the numbers in your bank account.
