Come on-a my film!!!!

Every year, Chet Snow produces an outstanding conference about crop circles and other mysteries of our time. This one will be November 16-18, in Tempe, Arizona. Joy of joys, they are having the very first showing of my movie, which will just have emerged from post-production. Several of the people featured in the movie are speakers at the conference, so if you come you will have a chance to mingle with movie stars!!

Both the accommodations and the conference are very reasonable as things go these days. The conference is held at a lovely Embassy all suites hotel, where you get two separate rooms and a great breakfast for little more than a single person's fee, and there's free shuttle service from the nearby Phoenix airport.

You list-members are a rare bunch, so whomever attends should enjoy meeting the others. I'll be doing some hosting in my suite, and if you are coming let me know and I'll put you in my loop. And if you have a mind to pass along this information, the conference producer would be grateful.

Here's an email from him that was just sent to a US crop circle listserve, which anybody interested in the circles might want to join.

Subject: New CC Film to Preview at “Shh! It's A Secret Conference” Nov 18th, Tempe, AZ

Dr. Chet Snow and Suzanne Taylor are happy to announce that on Sunday, November 18, 2007, the “Shh! It's A Secret! Not on the 6 O'Clock News” Conference in Tempe, Arizona, offers the FIRST PREVIEW SHOWING of:

“Walking in Circles” — Inside one of the greatest mysteries of our time

          with Producer-Director, Suzanne Taylor

Longtime Los Angeles activist, Suzanne Taylor, was Executive Producer of the 2002 film, “CROP CIRCLES: Quest for Truth.” Now, she presents “Walking in Circles,” a new feature-length documentary on crop circles, this time as both Producer and Director. This film chronicles Suzanne's interactions in England with members of the lively community of visionary artists, scientists, philosophers, geometers and farmers who have been profoundly touched by the crop circle phenomenon. Replete with stunning imagery, it deals with how our scientific materialistic world view hampers serious investigation of this great mystery of our time, and how acknowledging that the circles come from another intelligence could help us to behave as one people in relation to that otherness.

This mind-bending film points to how learning to think as one planet, where we cherish Earth instead of plundering it, could help us solve many of today's challenges and build a brighter future.

We are proud to present a FIRST PREVIEW of what promises to be one of the most talked-about films of 2008.

Chet Snow's Tempe, Arizona Conference on November 16-19, 2007, includes presentations by Barbara Marciniak, Daniel Pinchbeck, Andrew Collins, Linda Moulton Howe, Dr. Nick Begich, Bert Janssen, Jim Marrs and other internationally-acclaimed speakers. “It's Time for Truth!” and ” No More Secrets!” are the weekend's mottos. Congratulations on bringing this baby to birth. I am sure it will be beautiful and also wake people up to the Presence of the cosmos.

From: Danny Schechter [danny@mediachannel.org]

GOOD LUCK. Sounds great. I will promote when you want me to.

From Suzanne to Danny

Thanks, Danny. Advice is to go for theatrical release. Will let you know when there is news.

From: Carol King [KingCarol@aol.com]

CONGRATULATIONS, SUZANNE!!!! WHAT AN ACCOMPLISHMENT, WHAT A GREAT CELEBRATION!!! I'll be here in Pasadena — but will be thinking of you in Tempe and know you will have an outstanding gathering.

From Suzanne to Carol

I'll let you know when there's something to see here — no DVD yet since we've been advised to go for theatrical showing and can't do a DVD till later — but maybe we'll do screenings. Thanks for the kind words.

From: Marta Houske [Potlsmedia@aol.com]

CONGRATULATIONS! Doubt I'll make it to AZ, but let me know when you show it in LA!! I'll forward this to some friends of mine who I think will enjoy it!

From Suzanne to Marta

Thanks, Marta. It shoudl be a trippy event. Whitley Strieber just got added to the line-up. Don't have any more plans yet — not out of post actually, when we'll strategize about what to do to sell it and what events to have.

From: Jim Dreaver [Jdreaver@aol.com]

Congratulations on this, Suzanne…! I won't be at the conference in November, but I wish you much success with your movie. Bravo!

From: Jay Bremyer [mailto:jbremyer@ks-usa.net]

Sara and I have attended Snow's conference a couple times during the last several years, but can't this year. Wish we could. Will let people know and we do wish you a great opening there. Hope that you got to include Michael Glickman. He and John Michell presented at Tempe a couple years back, plus we know and admire him from Wiltshire with Stanley Messenger. We were in Glastonbury visiting Stanley a couple months ago (and Gudrun) but didn't hook up with Michael. Credited as one of the most original thinkers regarding the circles, Stanley at 90 has essentially lost interest, but he is still great and wonderful. We're in Crestone (Southern Colorado) about 1/2 time now and just met Hamida Nur Kate Steichen who traded me Lex Hixon's “Heart of the Koran.” I gave her my “Dance of Created Lights” in which I used Lex's early translations/interpretations/meditations that became “Heart.” I'm so glad you and others keep Lex's flame warm and glowing. Best, Jay (ps- you don't know me. I've don't remember writing, other than initially after Stanley somehow hooked us up via email and you put me on your list. But I do appreciate each posting. Keep it up!)

From Suzanne to Jay

So nice to hear from you. Too bad you're not in my neck of the woods so we could get together over our raft of mutual interests. Wish we could hook up in Tempe, but c'est la vie.

Michael is one of the stars of film — he's got all the good punch lines with that droll wit of his — and Stanley is in it, too, being the wise one that he is. Hopefully it will be in a theater where you can see it, but, whatever and however, you will know.

From Jay to Suzanne

Are you going to market it directly, too. How do we get a hold of it?

From Suzanne to Jay

I've been urged to go for a theatrical release. When it's out of post-production, in a couple of weeks, I'll consult with a sales agent to see if he will take it and shop it, or even advise me to book a theater in a likely town and create a theatrical buzz, which is what “What the Bleep” did (I am being advised by a friend who worked on that) — and about what to do re festivals. Putting out a DVD would have to correlate with the theatrical situation, where the run would have to go first. If it's decided there's no theatrical in our sights, I then will put out a DVD. Whatever happens, I'll for sure let people know. Glad you are interested. Feels good!!

From: Michael Glickman [michaelccr@hotmail.com]

Mazeltov! You did it. My congratulations and I hope it is an enormous hit. Wish I could see it at Tempe.

From Suzanne to Michael

It's still in post — promised to be finished before Tempe. Am encouraged to think theatrical, which would mean no DVD for awhile. Have to see about unofficial ones so people in it can see it. I like it a lot — and the music and all the technical polish it's getting should make it even better. You have a great personality in it — you have all the punch lines. I think you'll be pleased.

From: Gary Sinclair [Celbr8life@aol.com]

Congratulations Suzanne… you are stilling making powerful statements and helping to change our world. I will not be there. However, I will watch your posts and find time somewhere to see it. Bless you and thanks for all you do.

From: Rodney Vance [rodvance@gmail.com]

Congratulations on the completion and first screening of your new doc!!!

Also, thanks for introducing me to your talented and delightful daughter. We had a great phone conversation and vowed to stay in contact. Right now, the TV show is on hold due to the potential strike. We'll see how things move forward after the labor issues are resolved.

Again, congratulations on your significant accomplishment.

From: Josie Kelly [jasunset@gte.net]

FANTASTIC! I’m so proud of you -what a wonderful way to reach the masses…I wish I could attend – know that I am there in spirit and can’t wait to see the film…all love

From Suzanne to Josie

You will see your face when you see the film. Film is still being finished — will be done in time for the showing at the conference.

From: Jeanne D'Arcy [jjdarcy@charter.net]

Congratulations!! You did it your way…Wish I could be there.

From: jean clyde mason [jeanclyde@earthlink.net]

Gee. Suzanne….this will be a great event for you.

Working so diligently to get this story out.

Unfortunately I won't be able to be there for your big night.

But surely we will get a showing in L.A. soon.

Blessings, good vibes and “break a leg.”

From: Monica Roleff [monr@smartchat.net.au]

Oh boy! If I could be there, I would race to this! I will have to be content to be there in spirit, and read the despatches as you send them through the list. I feel privileged enough just hearing it is done. Bravissima. Sending blessings for this, and also will update the places I have listed this film, and at http://www.global-mindshift.org, which is growing by the day. If you ever want to use their space to host a forum, there is a ready made audience there. I am so excited about this film, the news of it has cheered me in a rough period, which makes me inspired again — Monika (Australia)

From Suzanne to Monica

Too bad we aren't in the same part of the world so we could hug.

When there is something for the public I will appreciate some guidance for you about what you know about the viral world in which it would be good for me to have a presence. This conference is just a little bubble because it involves the people in the film. I can't make a DVD yet because we are going to investigate getting theatrical distribution, and no DVD until after that. That's the likely time when there's a reason to have a buzz going — unless we get very lucky and get hot on the theatrical circuit where an earlier buzzing would help. Will keep you informed.

I got on the Global-Mindshift site and put in a search for crop circles, but nothing comes up. How would anyone find what I'm up to? And what sort of forum would you see for me there? I see that they are dealing with all the topics that I am all about, but it isn't clear how things work there.

From: Lynne Ericksson [lynneericksson@msn.com]

Wow…this is soooooo great! I'm so happy that you finally got your film done and now it's previewing in MY area, of all places!!! I sure hope you're happy with this one…I assume you are.

From: Barbara Gluck [bargluck@aol.com]

CONGRATULATIONS SUZANNE…

THIS IS SOOO EXCITING AND I'M TRULY THRILLED FOR YOU.

IS THERE ANY OTHER TIME AND PLACE…A LITTLE CLOSER TO LOS ANGELES…THAN TEMPE, AZ.?

THAT WE WILL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE YOUR MASTERPIECE?

I HOPE SO. PLEASE LET ME KNOW.

SO LOOKING FORWARD TO SEEING IT..BUT CAN'T MAKE IT TO THE CONFERENCE.

BLESSINGS on ALL YOU DO.

From Suzanne to Barbara

I don't know what comes next yet — need to hustle up a plan, where we will try for theatrical release which means no DVD yet. But maybe we'll do screenings. Will let you now. I am excited, too!!!!

From: Diahann Hughes [diahann@wisdomoftheancients.com]

Yay, it's done! Look forward to seeing it.

From Suzanne to Diahann

It's still in post production getting music and sparkles, and will be finished after the event. You are lovely in it!

From: Madeleine Schwab [madeleineschwab@yahoo.com]

WONDERFUL NEWS!! When will there be an L.A. showing for the rest of us?

From Suzanne to Madeleine

One step at a time.

From: Katharine King [KingKL@aol.com]

How exciting. I won't be in Tempe but look forward to a viewing at some point, hopefully soon.
